Replacing Your Existing System with and Earth to Air System
Earth to Air Deep Well Direct Exchange (DWDX) geothermal systems are great for replacement or retrofit applications. Most units are easy to install, particularly when they are replacing an existing forced-air system.
The ETA system can be installed in areas unsuitable for heating oil and gas furnaces because there is no need to install exhaust vents.
Ductwork must be installed in homes that don't have an existing air distribution system. The Earth to Air geothermal technology can also be used to provide in-floor radiant heating, in which hot water circulates through pipes under the floor to heat the room.
Earth to Air System Deep Well Direct Exchange (DWDX) technologies have not only proven to operate at the highest known levels of efficiency, but can also require 20% to 50% less excavated area than properly installed conventional water-source geothermal technologies.
